Recently, several Santa Fe employees released confidential or
"internal use only" information to Compuserve and the Internet.

Employees are reminded that information about business levels,
loadings, customers and train movements is proprietary. This
information is valuable to Santa Fe and should be kept
confidential.  In certain instances Santa Fe may be required by
contract to keep such information confidential.  Under some
circumstances release of such information could violate federal
law, damage Santa Fe and could result in immediate dismissal of the
employee responsible.

Employees are also reminded that publications such as Railway News
and the Tuesday News Bulletin may not be reproduced -- either in
print or in electronic form -- without written permission from the
Vice President - Corporate Communications.  Reproducing such
publications without permission can constitute a violation of
copyright law.
