By using a coupon inserted into Sunday newspapers on June 9 and presenting the coupon at a travel agent or an Amtrak ticket office, Amtrak customers can receive a free second ticket with the purchase of a round-trip coach fare or All Aboard America ticket. The coupon is valid for one free round-trip ticket of equal or lesser value for travel from June 9 through Aug. 18, 1996. Couples can use the "Buy One, Get One Free" offer for a spur-of-the moment getaway, families an irresistible reason to take an Amtrak vacation and single travelers can use the second ticket to bring along a friend. Customers using the free second ticket can purchase an upgrade to Custom Class or First Class sleeping accommodations, subject to availability.
