MAKE HISTORY ON THE AMTRAK LAKE SHORE LIMITED	

	CHICAGO -- After a day of doing business, why cram yourself into a narrow airline coach seat with your legs against the airsickness bag and another seat reclined against your forehead?  You can ride home with comfortable, reclining coach seats and footrests, brand-new sleeping cars and meals prepared by an American Culinary Institute-trained chef aboard the Amtrak Lake Shore Limited. 
	The eastbound Lake Shore Limited's scheduled Chicago departure at 8:00 p.m. (Train #48) allows a full day's work to be done, with arrival the next day in Cleveland, Buffalo, Albany, Boston or New York City.   The westbound Lake Shore Limited leaves Boston at 3:40 p.m. (Train #449) and New York City at 6:40 p.m. (Train #49), arriving in time for breakfast in Cleveland and Toledo and lunch in Chicago.
	Historically the civilized way for business people to travel, the Lake Shore Limited is now the most comfortable way to make the trip.  Lake Shore Limited customers have been able to reserve a compartment or a bedroom in Viewliner sleeping cars since last November, when Amtrak began testing the Viewliners on the Chicago to New York section of the route.
	The Viewliners are the first single-level American sleeping cars constructed in nearly 40 years and offer video screens and audio systems in each room, showers and views from both upper and lower beds.  On the Lake Shore Limited, sights include Lake Michigan, Lake Erie, the Hudson River, the Berkshire Mountains and skylines in Chicago, Cleveland, Boston and New York.
