Phil A. Hughes RAIL/90: In Preparation for April 19, 1997 April 19, 1997 can go by as any other day, in which case relatively little can be accomplished relative to what can be accomplished. If we let things go, our border with Mexico will be opened up completely, leaving the US and Oklahoma in particular open to drugs, illegal aliens, disease (witnessing the recent Hepatitus-A outbreaks in California and Michigan), and possibly terrorism if the United States takes unpopular stands. And if we are not free to take unpopular stands then we are nothing. |
