Jeff Smith & His D&RGW C-25 Engine
Jeff Smith and his D&RGW, C-25 live steam engine. 1.5 scale. This engine took over 10 years to model. 99% scratched built, I made all the patterns for the castings and fabricated many of the detail parts. Modeled from several photos and one erecting drawing. The original engine was used on the Crystal River Railroad until 1918 when the D&RG purchased it. It was then used Crested Butte branch, as well as all over the narrow gauge. It ended it's career as a switcher in Durango until it was scraped in 1949.

Peninsular Railways 2-8-2T #16
Peninsular Railways 2-8-2T #16 was built by Alco (Brooks) in 1929. It worked for several lumber companies in Oregon and California. The last to operate it was Hammond Lumber in California. This is a close sister to the #17 at Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad, and they both use their Hammond Lumber numbers. The locomotive is stored on private property near Shelton Washington. It is occasionally steamed up and operated for local celebrations.
