The Conference Team Moderators (Simon Lowe and Martin Schrader) host informal moderated conferences on all railway topics in our Conference Room. Conferences are held on Sundays starting at 20:00 London Time, 21:00 Berlin Time and 3 PM New York Time.

Moderated Conference Protocol

We only see what you type after you hit your return key, so you can edit each line before sending it. To keep conversations flowing, hit your "Enter" key after about 40 characters. We have a few simple rules:

Type OK when someone has finished.
You then have the floor until you end a line with //.
In the event of two or more OK's at the same time, take it in that order to speak.
The moderator will intervene only if necessary to resolve conflicts.
When you're done, end your line with //.
